Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky mix who has been through so much in her young life. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums. Despite her injuries, she remained brave and gentle. She also tested positive for heartworm but has already begun slow-kill treatment. Micaela is now on the path to recovery and will live a completely normal, pain-free life. She is learning to trust again and leans into gentle touch, her grateful eyes watching her caregivers with hope. Micaela is ready for a loving forever home where she will never be overlooked or in pain again.

Micaela is heartworm positive and has begun slow-kill treatment. She has undergone a full dental cleaning and removal of damaged teeth due to old, untreated jaw fractures.
