Hazel and Emmie

Hazel and Emmie are two incredible dogs who are looking for their forever homes in Vermont. They were rescued from a difficult situation and have blossomed since arriving at the shelter. Hazel, estimated to be between 2-4 years old, can be a bit shy initially but warms up with patience and love. She absolutely adores playing with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine companion. Emmie, estimated to be 3-4 years old, is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets! She gets along well with other dogs, preferring those who are a bit calmer in their play. She is affectionate, friendly, and always ready to make new friends. Both girls are currently awaiting heartworm treatment, which is scheduled to begin on May 13th. They need a loving Vermont-based foster or adopter to help them recover outside of the shelter environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a life-changing difference for these deserving pups.

Ideal Home

Hazel would thrive in a home with another dog to play with. Emmie prefers calmer canine companions. Both girls need to be in a Vermont-based home for their recovery.
