Winnifred

Winnifred is a sweet, approximately 2-3 year old female Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs 37 pounds. She came to us as a stray, along with her brother Angus, in very poor condition. Winnifred was extremely skinny and terrified, and her skin was in rough shape due to fleas, ticks, and malnutrition. She also has some old bite marks, suggesting she may have been in a fight. Despite her past struggles, Winnifred is a beautiful girl who is slowly warming up to people. She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Ideal Home

Winnifred and her siblings are still shy and would thrive in a home that is patient and understanding as they continue to gain confidence.

Ongoing Health

Winnifred's skin has improved greatly since her arrival, but she still has some bald patches from her previous ordeal. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Winnifred is not yet house-trained. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her blossom in her new home.
