Apollo

Apollo is a 6-year-old German Shepherd with an enormous amount of love to give. After being rescued from severe neglect, he has blossomed into an affectionate, easygoing companion who enjoys both adventures and relaxing beside his person on the couch.

Apollo is great on leash, non-reactive, and has training already in place. He loves attention and may gently reach out a paw to remind you he is there.

Ideal Home

Apollo does well with submissive, non-conflict-seeking larger dogs and is continuing to make progress meeting other dogs. He could also be happy as your one and only. He is not a good fit for a home where dog parks or daycare are a major part of the routine, and he does not mesh well with larger dominant dogs.

Ongoing Health

Apollo was rescued after being purposefully starved, but his current description focuses on his affectionate, thriving personality.
