Temple

Temple is a sweet 3-year-old, 65lb female mix who has overcome a lot! She arrived with us with serious wounds and was hospitalized, but she's healed beautifully and put on much-needed weight. Temple is understandably shy due to her past experiences, but she's making wonderful progress! She's now comfortable taking treats and even wags her tail when she's happy to see us. Temple is doing great in playgroups with other dogs and has a best friend named Vera. She's still a bit nervous around too much chaos, but none of her fears lead to any aggression. Temple is looking for a patient and loving adopter to help her continue to build her confidence and trust.

Ideal Home

Temple would thrive in a calm, quiet environment with a confident dog companion. She needs someone who can show her unconditional love as she learns to trust.

Ongoing Health

Temple was heartworm positive but is now heartworm negative!

Training & Support

Temple can be a bit selective with other dogs and still gets nervous with a lot of chaos. She needs a patient adopter to help her build confidence and trust.
