I'm Elliot, a 7-year-old, 55-pound neutered male terrier mix with a heart full of cuddles and a love for squeaky toys! I came to Wags from a shelter where I was a bit stressed, but I've settled into home life and blossomed into a sweet, affectionate boy. I'm a champion sleeper in my crate and am bathroom trained, though leash walking is still a work in progress. I enjoy compliments, treats, and pets – they really make my day!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a loving, mellow home where I can be the one and only cherished pet. I do best as the solo dog and would prefer a home without cats or other small animals. While I'm kid-friendly, I'd do best with older children who understand my boundaries. A strong, confident handler is key for me, especially on walks.

Ongoing Health

I manage a skin allergy with medicated baths and Apoquel, which costs around $170 for a month's supply (price may vary). I also take Prozac, about $5.00 for a month's supply (price may vary), to help with stress management.

Training & Support

I'm working on my leash training and can get a bit fixated on things during walks, so a strong handler is important to help me stay focused. I'm great in the crate and house-trained.
