Hondo is a 6-year-old, 85 lb Lab mix with a gentle soul and an easygoing nature. He’s happiest just being near his people, whether that’s enjoying a nice walk, a little playtime, or relaxing on the couch for a quiet night in. He’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new people, and has been a total star at adoption events. Hondo brings a steady, comforting presence that makes him an instant favorite wherever he goes. He is fully potty trained and great on leash. Hondo is calm, well-mannered, and trustworthy in the home. He doesn’t require a crate but does fine if needed.

Ideal Home

Hondo is cat-friendly and loves female dog companions. With male dogs, he can be a bit selective, so slow introductions and the right match are key. He hasn’t lived with kids yet, but his gentle, laid-back personality suggests he could do well in the right home. Hondo prefers to enjoy his meals and favorite toys in his own space.
