Pookie- Reduced Adoption Fee

Hi, I'm Pookie! I came to Mississauga Animal Services after my previous family could no longer provide the care I needed, and now I'm searching for my forever home-one that's ready for plenty of adventures and lots of fun! I'm a 5-year-old American Bully who loves people and is always excited to say hello. I'm a very athletic girl and always looking forward to my next walk. One of my favourite activities has been running on the slat treadmill, where I've perfected my gait while getting exercise and staying mentally engaged. I love having a job to do and staying active! I can show off commands like sit, paw, and down, and I'm always eager to learn more-especially if treats are involved!

Ideal Home

I'd do best as the only pet in the home, as I can sometimes lack patience with other dogs. A home with kids aged 10 and older would likely be the best fit, as I can be a bit of a bull in a china shop when I'm excited and sometimes don't realize how strong and enthusiastic I am.

Ongoing Health

I've been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

I've completed four training sessions and know my basics very well. I'm always eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved!
