Meet Veda! She's a perfectly playful puppy whose entire approach to life is, "Wait... we can PLAY in that too?!" Mud puddle? Amazing. New dog friend? Incredible. Couch cuddles afterward? Best day ever! This girl is pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur and giant mismatched ears. One ear stands straight up, while the other flops dramatically, making her look like a cartoon character brought to life. Veda discovered a flooded muddy yard and immediately decided it was the greatest place on earth, zooming through puddles and inviting all her dog friends to join her muddy water party. She's a curious, playful, and outgoing pup who genuinely thrills to be included in everything.
Ideal Home
Veda would absolutely LOVE an adventurous home that enjoys hiking, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, or just backyard sprinkler time. She wants to experience life with her people and would thrive in a home where she gets to explore, play, and be involved in everyday life. Bonus points if there's water nearby! While she's generally good with people, we recommend older or dog-savvy children due to her playful puppy energy and tendency to jump when excited.
Ongoing Health
Veda is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has been heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Veda is treat-motivated, which will make training a rewarding experience. She has also been assessed by trainers on staff, and individualized behavior plans are created to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation
Veda is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
