McFly

McFly is a smart, loyal boy who learns quickly and is incredibly sweet and affectionate with people he knows. He's great with women and very gentle with children, having also lived with cats. McFly is 100% housebroken and loves car rides. He had a bit of a rough start in life, being adopted during Covid when he was rarely alone and didn't meet many people outside his home. This has resulted in a lack of socialization skills and some separation anxiety. His family later went through some upheaval, and the stress and confusion have left this sweet boy needing a stable environment.

Ideal Home

McFly needs a safe space with someone he can rely on. He requires patience and love to help him adjust to new people and situations. He can be selective with other dogs, though he has lived with cats.

Ongoing Health

McFly suffers from separation anxiety and can be wary of men, strangers, and anyone with grey hair until he gets to know them. He is protective of his food and needs to be separated from other dogs during feeding times. He can also sometimes be jealous of attention given to another dog.

Training & Support

McFly needs extra time to adjust to new people and situations. With space, patience, love, and plenty of treats, he will befriend anyone. Stability is key to helping him relax and resolve his issues.
