Hi, I'm Rosie, a 7-year-old, 25 lb Mini Aussie with a heart full of love and a desire to be your devoted shadow. My coat changes with the seasons, growing long and luxurious in the winter and being trimmed for comfort in the Texas heat. I'm the affectionate type who loves to be by your side, following you from room to room, and offering quiet companionship. I'm sweet with everyone I meet and have a history of getting along wonderfully with other dogs. Cats? I'm not bothered by them. I enjoy my walks, love a good game of fetch, and am just as happy to settle in for a cozy evening. I've lived in busy households with teenage boys and adapted beautifully. My energy is nicely balanced – I enjoy activity but am not overwhelming. I'm currently working on shedding a little extra weight, but with regular walks and routine, I'm already feeling my best. I have excellent house manners, am house-trained, and while I don't have much crate experience, I'm perfectly content left alone in a room. I'm up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and take Trifexis for ongoing health. My previous owner passed away, and I'm now looking for a loving family to be a part of again. Transporation
I was rescued in Texas and am looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the Northeast. Transport runs every other weekend, and I can meet you in East Hartford, Connecticut or Brattleboro, Vermont.
