Meet Red, our longest resident and a true sweetheart! This handsome 4-year-old pittie mix is an energetic and affectionate boy with a zest for life that will constantly put a smile on your face. Red was rescued from a Florida shelter after it was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024, and he's been patiently waiting for his forever home for 1.5 years. He's been a joy in our care, loving playtime in the yard, zoomies with staff, and snuggles from volunteers. He's fully housetrained and a favorite for doggy day outs and fostering! Red is a ladies man who prefers the company of female dogs and people, but with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all. His adoption fee is waived to help him finally find his perfect match! Red is an easygoing, lovable goofball ready to shower his family with a lifetime of love. We are located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
