Mallory

Meet Mallory! This beautiful 2-3 year old Dutch Shepherd mix is a smart, athletic, and driven girl who loves other dogs. She was found as a stray during a storm and after her finders searched for an owner who never appeared, she's now ready for her forever home! Mallory is eager to please and thrives on praise and petting. She's good in the car, crates easily, and is a fast learner. She's also great with dogs and customers when brought to her foster's work.

Ideal Home

Mallory would likely do well with children over 5 years old. Due to her prey drive, she should not be in a home with cats. She can be possessive of food and toys, so a home that can provide additional training for resource guarding would be beneficial. While she can scale a 4ft fence, she listens well to redirection.

Ongoing Health

Mallory is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mallory has some basic obedience training. She will need additional training to help with resource guarding (possessiveness of food and toys).

Transportation

Mallory is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
