Meet Max! This handsome 2-year-old, 30 lb Shar Pei is searching for a loving family to call his own. Max joined us when his previous owners could no longer care for him, and now he's ready to share his affectionate nature and wrinkly charm with a new household. He enjoys spending time with his people, whether it's going for walks, relaxing at home, or just being by your side. Max walks well on leash and loves exploring the world, making him a great companion for daily adventures. He's a smart boy who is motivated by treats and eager to learn, which will make ongoing training a rewarding experience.

Ideal Home

We're looking for adopters with Shar Pei or similar breed experience who understand their unique personalities and care needs. Max will do best with a family that appreciates his loyal nature and is committed to helping him continue to thrive. He has done well with other dogs but prefers slow, thoughtful introductions and can be selective, so proper introductions are important. He could do well with a compatible dog or as the center of attention in an only-dog home.
