A little about them
Dani is a sweet, intelligent, independent Collie/Aussie mix who is looking for a calm suburban home with a yard. She is playful, high-energy, and happiest with plenty of outdoor time, exercise, and enrichment. She is currently thriving in foster care with two other dogs.
Dani enjoys wrestling, chasing, digging for sticks, and spending time outside. She can be shy around strangers at first but warms up quickly. She is not suited to city living and would do best with an experienced adopter who understands herding-breed energy and puppy behavior.
Ideal Home
- A suburban home with a yard and a calm environment
- An experienced adopter able to provide substantial daily exercise, training, mental stimulation, and patience
- Adults or children ages 8 and up
- A home with playful, social dogs may be a good fit
- A designated digging area would be ideal
Ongoing Health
Dani is healthy as far as known, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She is fully potty trained.
Training & Support
Dani is very mouthy and continues learning appropriate play with people. She jumps up when excited and would benefit from ongoing rewards-based training. She generally walks well on leash, though she may pull when startled. She uses her crate for meals, rest, and alone time, but may need a treat to enter when asked. She may cry briefly when left alone before settling.

Yes. She is playful and social with dogs in the home and yard, and she currently lives successfully with two foster dogs.
She is considered suitable for older children but is too playful for younger kids. She has not had close interaction with cats and barks at cats she sees in a neighbor's yard.
Dani is fully potty trained and generally walks well on leash, but she is mouthy, jumps when excited, and may need encouragement to enter her crate. Ongoing rewards-based training is recommended.
