Bear

Tiny baby "Bear" is an 8-week-old Australian Shepherd mix. He is absolutely the sweetest little baby, currently just a bit bigger than your hand. Momma was also an Australian Shepherd mix, and we are not sure what daddy was. He should be about 35lbs full grown. Bear loves to play and gets along great with his siblings. He hasn't shown any food aggression and really is just a baby ready to be everything you make of him.

Ideal Home

Bear is ready to be everything you make of him and would love a home that can provide him with lots of playtime and love.

Ongoing Health

Bear will come to you spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations (for age), and up to date on preventatives. He will receive an additional exam and health certificate issued by a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel. All pets will be bathed prior to adoption. You will also receive a FREE GPS Tracker from Fi + a 6-month subscription to their service. The adoption fee is $400, which helps cover vetting.

Training & Support

Bear is still very young and ready to learn. He gets along well with his siblings and has not shown any food aggression.

Transporation

Bear is currently located in Lucedale, MS at Rise & Shine Rescue. He will be ready to leave on our July 31st transport and will arrive in the North 1-2 days later, depending on your pickup stop. Alternatively, you can pick him up earlier by flying into either Mobile, AL or Gulfport, MS, where a team member will meet you at the airport. If choosing transport, there is an additional $175 transport fee on top of the adoption fee. All pets are welcome to be picked up in person at our shelter at no cost to their adopter.
