Hi, I'm Mercury! I'm a handsome American Staffordshire Terrier/pit bull mix with a gentle heart that's still learning to shine. I'm a sweet and affectionate boy who was a little shy when I first arrived, but I'm coming out of my shell more every day. I love people and enjoy spending time with them, though I can be timid and appreciate a patient, understanding approach while I build confidence. I came in with several other dogs and have a special bond with my best buddy, Cosmo. We play well together, match each other's energy, and make a wonderful pair. While I do great with Cosmo, I can be selective with other dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions are recommended. I'm also a big fan of toys, especially my favorite red ball! I can be a little protective of my toys, so it's something my future family should be aware of and help me manage. Treats are another favorite, and they're a great way to help me learn new things. I'm also working on my potty training, and with patience and consistency, I should be a pro in no time.
