Lucrecia is a lovely 3-year-old, approximately 33 lb. Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, standing 22 inches tall and measuring 24 inches in length. She's a highly intelligent, affectionate, playful, and energetic girl who absolutely adores her foster siblings and thrives on having a safe and secure home. Lucrecia was found as a stray in Saltillo, Mexico, and initially was quite distrustful, which is understandable given her circumstances. She also had an injured front paw, which has since been successfully treated. Despite her tough start, Lucrecia is a joyful and loving companion eager to find her forever family.
Ideal Home
Lucrecia would do best in a home with a securely fenced backyard, ideal for owners who enjoy outdoor activities. Families experienced with the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed and with a deep understanding of the needs of rescued animals, including patience and a willingness to provide protection and education, are preferred. She would also benefit from a home with individuals experienced in dog behavior and training.
Ongoing Health
Lucrecia is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed, and her 4DX and heartworm tests are negative. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventative for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Lucrecia is not house-trained. The rescue team works diligently on the health and emotional rehabilitation of their animals, but due to the number of pets in foster care, individual house-training is not always possible. She will need a patient and dedicated adopter willing to continue her training and integration into a home environment.

Transporation
Lucrecia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast for her adoption. Transportation to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
