Meet Diesel!

Diesel is a fun-loving 2-year-old "pitsky" who is still very much a puppy at heart. He's a smart, fast, and athletic boy with a great sense of humor, and he knows it! He responds well to training and knows his commands, but he does like to test boundaries to see what he can get away with. Diesel enjoys playing rough with other dogs and can be a bit overwhelming for some. He would do best with a confident, larger female dog who enjoys wrestling and chasing but can also hold her own and let him know when it's time to calm down. He's known to playfully pester his shelter dog friends until they "yell" back, then he'll poke them and run away, much like a mischievous toddler! Diesel has enjoyed overnight stays with staff and was well-behaved, showing he'd love to be back in a real home soon. If you're looking for a hilarious, goofy best friend to keep you on your toes, Diesel, our resident class clown, might be the perfect fit!

Ideal Home

Diesel would be a fun playmate for a big girl dog who likes to wrestle and chase but can still hold her own and let him know she's the boss.

Diesel has been neutered.
