Dolly

Dolly is a curious, funny, and playful Beagle/Heeler mix who has fully embraced the luxurious indoor lifestyle after surviving on the streets. She loves soft beds, tasty treats, and investigating new smells. Dolly is still learning to be comfortable with walks and new experiences, but her playful personality shines through more each day. She'll let you know her opinions with an occasional beagle "song." Dolly needs a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time, especially for a dog who had to figure life out on her own. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes wonderfully affectionate, goofy, and eager to be part of the action.

Transportation

Dolly is available for transport to Long Island (West Islip area), serving adopters throughout Long Island and the greater New York area. Most adopters are within a 1–2 hour drive of our transport meetup. Pickup logistics are arranged at adoption.
