Coffee Sweets, also known as Cafecita, is a 59 lb sweetheart who's ready to brighten your day! She's a master of settling down into a cozy spot, but once she's comfortable, her silly, joyful side emerges. Cafecita is like a welcome committee in dog form, greeting everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a friendly demeanor. She's the perfect companion for any time of day, whether you're working from home or enjoying a lazy Sunday. Cafecita was a total sweetheart when she met a 3-year-old, showing her gentle nature. She knows how to listen to her needs, wandering off for a nap when playtime is over. We believe she's a Lab mix with perhaps a surprise breed adding to her striking brindle coloring. Cafecita is a big dog with an even bigger heart, who still thinks she's a lap dog!
Ideal Home
Cafecita would thrive in almost any setting, from an apartment to a house with a yard, thanks to her adaptable nature and ability to switch from play to cuddle mode. She's an excellent leash walker and has a lovely "off switch."
Ongoing Health
Cafecita is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Cafecita is fully potty trained and crate trained, viewing her crate as her own private den. She is a social butterfly with other dogs, curious at first but quick to make friends and loves to play chase with smaller dogs. She was a little unsure when first meeting a cat, so a supervised sleepover would be ideal to ensure a smooth introduction.

Transportation
Cafecita is located in Texas but can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
