Boot - A Sweet Soul

Boot is a 3 to 3.5-month-old Hound/Bulldog mix weighing around 21 pounds. He and his siblings were found abandoned in rural Texas and rescued by Freedom Street Rescue, who are now looking for loving homes for them in the Northeast. Boot is a little shy initially, but blossoms into a sweet, playful pup once he feels comfortable. He enjoys wrestling with his littermates, exploring his surroundings, and relaxing with a chew toy or a snuggle. Boot is a cautious explorer, often letting others go first. He is also doing well with his house training and sleeps through the night.

Ideal Home

Boot would thrive in a home with another playful and friendly dog who can help build his confidence.

Ongoing Health

Boot is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He will come with a neuter contract, and it is the adopter's financial responsibility to have him neutered at the recommended age. Proof of the procedure will need to be sent to Freedom Street Rescue.

Training & Support

Boot is doing well with house training and sleeping through the night. He is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly.
