ROSIE (cc#6942)

Rosie is a 4-year-old sweetheart who has had some very bad luck. She was found tied to a fire hydrant and ended up at the shelter. After a brief adoption that didn't work out due to issues with the resident dog, Rosie is back and looking for her forever home. She's a bit of a couch potato and has gained some weight, but with regular walks and room to run, she's sure to slim down. Rosie loves people and going for walks, knows how to "sit" for treats, and appears to be housebroken. She's currently serving as the "Facility Foster" at Prospect Ridge Veterinary Hospital, where she receives lots of love and attention while awaiting her perfect match.

Ideal Home

We feel placing Rosie as an only dog might be best, given her past experience.

Ongoing Health

Rosie's Heartworm/Lyme Disease and fecal tests were negative. She has been spayed and received her Rabies and Distemper vaccinations, which have been updated.

Training & Support

Rosie knows the command "sit," especially for treats. She tries to keep her run clean, suggesting she may be housebroken.
