Meet Lucy!

Lucy is a wonderfully devoted, medium-energy, two-year-old girl with a loyal heart and a talent for sunbathing. This 65-pound Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix is a gentle burst of sunshine, happiest when lounging in a sunny spot with her favorite plush lamb by her side. She enjoys leisurely walks and spending time in a spacious yard, but her ultimate joy comes from being close to her people.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she can relax. A rural setting with a large fenced yard would be ideal. She would do best with adults or families with older children who can provide a peaceful atmosphere, as she can become cautiously excited in high-energy situations. Lucy is not suitable for a home with young children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She has no known medical or dietary restrictions and is in excellent health.

Training & Support

Lucy has completed formal obedience training and reliably responds to commands such as sit, place, down, stay, come, and heel. She walks nicely on a leash and comes when called. While she can settle on her own for six to seven hours during the day and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night, her Great Pyrenees instincts can emerge in busy households. When excitement levels rise, she may growl and engage in 'ball-herding' behaviors. With structure, patience, and a calm routine, her affectionate and easygoing personality will continue to shine.
