Franck is a delightful 7-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs about 22 lbs. He's a social, happy puppy with a loving personality, always eager for affection and human attention. Franck gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, men, and women, making him a versatile companion. He was found abandoned and suffering from severe mange, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of part of his tail. Now healthy and full of life, Franck is ready for his second chance at a happy life.
Ideal Home
Franck would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with a genuine commitment to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued animals. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, or a willingness to hire a trainer to help this intelligent pup reach his full potential. A high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential.
Ongoing Health
Franck has been treated for severe mange and has undergone spay/neuter surgery, received DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, and Bordetella. He is dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for 4DX and heartworm. He is currently on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Franck is not house-trained. It's important to understand that many rescued dogs require an adjustment period due to past trauma, and patience is key to building trust and a strong bond. Franck will need consistent guidance and clear boundaries to help him feel secure in his new environment.

Transporation
Franck is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. We offer door-to-door delivery for an additional transport fee of $400 USD. Our transport process involves scheduled trips (3-4 times a year with 15-20 adoptions per trip) utilizing a partnered transport company. Pets will have all necessary legal documents, including a transport contract and a USDA health certificate. For US adoptions, pets will cross into Texas. For Canadian adoptions, pets will be delivered to the nearest US-Canada border. You will receive real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group.
