Rocky - Banjo

Say hello to this handsome man! Banjo, a 1-2 year old Pitbull mix, has chosen to hyphenate his name even though it makes no sense. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Banjo was confiscated from his home due to criminal activity and animal abuse, and sadly, he was tied and left alone on more than one occasion. Because of this, Banjo has separation anxiety, which we are actively working on. He will need an adjustment period in a new home as he navigates new boundaries and learns new routines.

Ideal Home

Banjo is super friendly with people and would love a home where he can be a cuddlebug. He is calm and snuggly when you are calm, making him a great couch potato potential! He loves to carry a stuffie around in his mouth, play in the kiddie pool, and dive for snacks!

Ongoing Health

Banjo is being treated for separation anxiety, and will require continued support and training to help him overcome this.

Training & Support

Banjo is food and toy-motivated, and learns quickly! He is doing really well in obedience training and is working on his manners. He is friendly around dogs and shows friendly play signals, but still has socialization to do and will need a dog friend who can help him continue to learn.
