Hi there! I'm Derrika, a sweet 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler mix who was rescued from a local kill shelter. I might be a little shy at first, but with some time and patience, I really start to open up! I just need a family who is understanding of this and works with me! I get along great with other dogs, and having furry companions around helps me come out of my shell even more. I have a moderate energy level, so I enjoy playtime but also appreciate some downtime to relax. One of my favorite things to do is play outside in the yard-there's nothing quite like the feeling of grass under my paws! If you're looking for a loving companion who just needs a little time to trust, I might fit your family perfectly! I hope I meet my forever family soon!

Ideal Home

A family who understands that I can be shy at first and is willing to work with me to build trust. I also do well with other dogs around, so a home with canine companions would be wonderful!

I am spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While I get along with other dogs, I may need a little extra time to warm up to new people. Patience and a gentle approach will go a long way in helping me feel comfortable and secure.
