Georgie Smiles has one of the best smiles in town, and it's contagious! This handsome pittie mix is about 6.5 years old and weighs around 45 lbs. He's a happy-go-lucky boy who absolutely adores people and is always up for an adventure. Georgie is smart, loyal, and has a heart of gold.
Ideal Home
Georgie would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and sunbathe. He's a social butterfly who loves to be the center of attention, making him a perfect companion for those who enjoy hosting. He also does well with older children who are sturdy on their feet and comfortable around larger dogs, though he hasn't been tested with younger kids. While he's dog-friendly and has been tolerant of other dogs, his happiest life would be as the one and only fur baby, soaking up all the love.
Ongoing Health
Georgie is a healthy boy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Georgie is a treat-motivated learner who already knows how to sit. He has excellent house manners, is crate-trained, and potty-trained. He can even run alongside a bike! He will do best with an adopter who provides structure, leadership, and companionship.

Georgie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
