Nico

Nico is a 13-year-old gentleman with a heart as big as his love for treats. He arrived at the shelter needing some serious TLC, being underweight and requiring extensive dental work. Fortunately, a wonderful foster family opened their home and hearts to him. Thanks to their amazing care and a visit to the vet, Nico is now feeling much better! He had to have quite a few teeth removed, but he's all healed up and enjoying his food now that his mouth doesn't hurt. We expect him to continue gaining a little weight, which he still needs. Nico has a gentle spirit and a deep love for his people, happily following them around the house. He enjoys leisurely walks and tasty snacks. While he gets around well, he prefers short strolls.

Ideal Home

Nico would do best in a home without a lot of stairs. He prefers a calm environment with fewer comings and goings, and would do best in a home without small children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Nico recently underwent dental surgery and had several teeth extracted. He is now healed and eating well, and we anticipate he will continue to gain a healthy amount of weight.

Training & Support

Nico is a well-behaved companion who loves treats. He enjoys short walks and quiet time with his people.
