Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, a charming approximately 1-year-old, 19 lb bundle of joy. He's a typical multiple breed mix with a lot of Chihuahua in his DNA! Duncan loves to play with his squeaky toys and enjoys lots of petting and attention. He's a quiet and well-behaved pup who seems to be pretty well house-trained and does pretty well on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training. He gets along with all the other dogs in his foster home.

Ideal Home

Duncan would do well in a home that can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated according to The American Heartworm Society protocols, and we typically see dogs test negative in 4 to 6 months. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and receives monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and walks well on a leash, but could use a little additional training to perfect these skills.
