Moose

Moose is a charming 9-month-old Shepsky with striking blue eyes and a personality that's as vibrant as his gaze. He's a fun-loving, energetic boy with a heart full of affection, always eager for his next adventure with his favorite people. Moose is friendly with dogs and cats and loves spending time exploring the outdoors, whether hiking, playing, or simply going for long walks. He walks nicely on a leash and would be a fantastic companion for an active family.

Ideal Home

Moose would thrive in an active home that understands he's still a young dog learning about the world. He would benefit greatly from a family that can provide him with consistent training and supervision, especially around food and toys when interacting with other dogs. A home with a fully fenced yard is required, and electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Moose is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Training & Support

Like many young dogs, Moose will do best with a family dedicated to continuing his training and helping him build good habits. He is highly intelligent and food-motivated, making him a quick learner who aims to please. He is currently learning house manners and would benefit from a home where someone can be present to let him out regularly, as his foster parents work long hours.

Transportation

Moose is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. He can be transported to other states if it's the best home for him. The transport fee for out-of-state adopters ranges from $200 to $350, depending on the location.
