Ideal Home
Onyx would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can romp and play, but he's also happy to be a couch potato for movie marathons. We haven't seen Onyx around children yet, but we can certainly test this for you, and based on his personality, we believe he would make a great family dog. He seems happiest with another dog in the home, as he loves to follow his foster's dogs around like a little brother.

Onyx is a rescue dog, so breed and age cannot be guaranteed.
Training & Support
Onyx is already a well-behaved boy with wonderful house manners. He knows basic commands like "sit" and is gentle when taking treats. He's eager to please and smart, making him a joy to train further. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for long periods.

Onyx is located in Texas and we facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real time with photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
