About Colt

Hello there! I'm Colt, a bundle of energy and joy, always ready for a good time! My excitement is off the charts when you walk through the door, and I love to jump around. I'm making great progress with crate training, though my absolute favorite thing is snuggling up in bed with you. Playing with my dog foster siblings is a blast; we love to chase and chew on toys. Sometimes I accidentally get into the tiny humans' toys, oops! I get along well with my foster human siblings, but very young children might find my boisterous energy a bit much. I'm improving with potty training and have a cheerful bark that lets you know when I need something or when it's time to go out. All I truly crave is love, and I'm patiently waiting for that special someone to teach me all about being a cherished part of a loving family. I can't wait to meet you!

Colt and his brother, Kolsch, can be adopted together for a reduced fee as they adore each other.

Ideal Home

Colt would do best in a home that can accommodate his energetic nature. Very young children might find his enthusiasm a bit overwhelming.

Ongoing Health

Colt is fully vetted, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Colt is working on his crate and potty training, and he's doing well. He has a system of letting you know when he needs to go outside with a bark. He enjoys playing with doggy siblings and is good with older children.
