Meet Fred Squishmellow! This soulful sweetheart is a total love bug with a face made of velvet wrinkles, ready to be the heart of your home and the shadow by your side. Fred is a big dog with an even bigger heart, and he's perfectly content just being in your company, offering quiet companionship and those famous puppy-dog eyes. Whether you're watching your favorite show or reading a book, Fred is happiest right at your feet, making sure you know you're his favorite person. He's a perfectly sized Pit Bull mix with a sturdy, huggable frame, and we are 100% certain he is 100% good boy!
Ideal Home
Fred would do best in an apartment or home without a large yard, as he enjoys a cozy life and daily strolls. He'd thrive with a calm, confident dog sibling who respects his space, or as a solo pup. He definitely needs a home with no cats, as he finds them a little too interesting to live with.
Ongoing Health
Fred is a healthy boy with no ongoing health conditions to be aware of.
Training & Support
Fred is already a star houseguest! He is crate trained and potty trained, and enjoys leisurely walks. He is a sensitive soul who warms up quickly once he feels safe and loved. If he gets too excited on walks, he might give a little huff to remind you to keep a steady pace.

Transportation
Fred is currently in a foster home in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transport.
