Nala

Nala is an 8-year-old, spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix who weighs 52 pounds. She was found abandoned in an area known for dumping dogs and has been with a networker in Houston, Texas ever since. Nala is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet, with a tail that has never stopped wagging. She has a peaceful, calm demeanor, but still enjoys playful moments, offering a wonderful balance of relaxed and fun.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home that appreciates her calm, loving nature. She would do well with children of various ages and would also be happy with another friendly dog, especially a larger breed. She can adapt well to both active and more laid-back households and would also be content as a solo dog.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and crate-trained, resting comfortably in her crate for several hours during the day and overnight. She walks nicely on a leash and is very manageable. She may prefer some space while eating, especially around unfamiliar dogs, but has shown no issues with people around her food or toy guarding behaviors.
