Keri is a sweet, well-mannered, and incredibly lazy girl who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Keri was adopted in 2020 but unfortunately, lost her home through no fault of her own. She's currently a bit overweight, with her thyroid playing a part, but it's mostly due to being overfed and under-exercised. She's a calm companion who loves to just hang out, making her the perfect partner for a quiet night in watching true crime documentaries. Keri is a ride-or-die kind of dog, forming a deep bond with her person and content with a life of quiet companionship.
Ideal Home
Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who can ensure she gets a walk or two a day and is not overfed. She generally does well with dogs her own size but isn't a fan of "yippy little dogs." In fact, she'd be perfectly happy without any canine companions. She is not a cat person. Keri is looking for an owner who wants a devoted companion all to themselves.
Ongoing Health
Keri has a thyroid condition and is currently overweight. She is being managed for her thyroid and would benefit from a consistent exercise and feeding routine to reach her ideal weight of around 40-45 pounds.
Training & Support
Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her main needs are consistent feeding and daily exercise to help her manage her weight and energy levels.
