Duke

Meet Duke! Duke is a charming, energetic brindle pit bull mix, estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old. He's a sweet and loving boy who enjoys sunbathing outside and would much rather snuggle in bed with his humans than sleep in an xpen at night. Duke is a social butterfly at his foster's workplace, greeting everyone with enthusiasm and rarely barking. He's looking for a family that can dedicate the time he deserves and will be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty.

Ideal Home

Duke is a very energetic dog who would thrive with an adventurous family who enjoys hiking or exploring. He would do well in a home with older children, as he doesn't always realize his own size and energy. He could also be a great companion for other active dogs, provided a proper introduction. However, Duke is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Duke is a healthy boy! All our animals are fixed (if old enough), microchipped, dewormed, up-to-date on vaccines, and treated for fleas and ticks. Any pre-existing medical issues are addressed before adoption.

Training & Support

Duke is house-trained and sleeps in an xpen at night, but he does need some basic training. He's looking for a family committed to helping him learn and grow.
