Apani

Apani is a sweet, approximately 6-8 month old puppy whose name means "butterfly" in Lakota. This name is especially fitting for this young pup as she learns to spread her wings and discover the world! When she first arrived, she was covered in ticks and had clearly endured a tough start. Despite her past, Apani has a gentle spirit and is blossoming more each day as she learns that people can be safe and that life in a home can feel good. She loves her cozy kennel and settles in happily when it's time to rest. Apani also enjoys playing with her 4-month-old foster sibling, and her playful puppy side shines when she has another dog to romp with. Apani is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her build confidence and experience all the good things life has to offer. With time and care, this little "butterfly" is sure to grow into a loyal and wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Apani is looking for a patient and loving family. She enjoys playing with other dogs. Information about compatibility with cats and children was not tested.

Ongoing Health

Apani has no known ongoing health concerns. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Apani is crate trained and potty trained. She is still learning to build confidence and needs continued positive reinforcement.

Apani is currently located in Crystal, MN. We can arrange transport to the Fridley, MN area for our adoption event on Saturday, 7/11 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Forgotten Star Brewing.
