Sadie

Sadie is a 6-year-old, 50-pound Shepherd/Lab mix who is as smart as she is affectionate and loyal. She and her sister are looking for a new forever home due to a change in their current guardian's health. Sadie knows hand commands, including "sit" and "stay," and is a well-behaved traveler in the car. She's friendly with other dogs, cats, children, and strangers alike, and is protective of her people, ready to alert you to any issues. Sadie would make a wonderful companion for a senior or anyone seeking an intelligent, trained dog.

Ideal Home

Sadie is afraid of storms and would be safest inside with her people during bad weather. She can also hop a 4-foot fence, so a 6-foot fence is recommended to keep her secure.

Ongoing Health

Sadie is generally healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Sadie knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and is a good car rider. Her primary need for support is during storms, where she feels most secure indoors with her family.
