About Triton

Triton was found as a stray, a bit tangled and walking in a rather unique way. Luckily, a kind rescuer noticed him and gave him a much-needed spa day, cleaning up his mats and discovering the charm behind his gait. Triton's distinctive walk is due to a birth defect where both of his femurs are curved, causing his knees to turn outward. While he moves around with surprising agility, the wear and tear have led to early-onset arthritis. He's currently on daily anti-inflammatories to keep him comfortable, and while a wheelchair might be in his future, for now, he's perfectly happy with his mobility. Triton isn't a big fan of long walks, but he absolutely adores belly rubs and being close to his people. He's a mellow guy with occasional bursts of playful energy, especially when toys are involved – though he has a tendency to eat them, so no stuffies for him! A good chew bone, however, is a guaranteed hit. Triton's absolute favorite time of day? Dinner, of course!

Ideal Home
