Riggs

Riggs is a sweet, gentle, and shy nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a hoarding situation with over 40 dogs. While he was cared for, he didn't have much opportunity for socialization. Riggs is a natural introvert who prefers a calm approach and needs a little time to observe new situations. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and would benefit from a confident canine companion in his new home to help him feel more secure and learn by example.

Ideal Home

Riggs needs a home with a fenced yard for safety, as he is sensitive to loud noises and sudden commotion. He would do best with older children over 10 who are calm and respectful. He thrives in a relaxed environment and prefers consistent indoor temperatures around 72 degrees. The Fourth of July is likely to be his least favorite holiday, so consideration for his sensitivities is important.
