Bread

Bread is a large, neutered male dog looking for his forever home! He's a loyal companion who enjoys both active adventures and cozy couch snuggles. Bread is eager to please, knows several commands like sit, stay, and down, and loves to play. He's a "people" dog who thrives on human interaction and will shower his favorite humans with affection.

Ideal Home

Bread would do best as the only animal in the home. He is dog selective and can be reactive to other dogs on leash. Patient, gradual introductions and careful management are key for successful interactions with other dogs. He has also experienced kennel-related anxiety in the past, so a home committed to continuing his positive crate training is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Bread is Lyme and Anaplasmosis positive, which are tick-borne illnesses. He is currently being treated with Doxycycline.

Training & Support

Bread is a smart and eager-to-learn dog who is working on commands. He has made progress with kennel training and understanding social cues with other dogs. He will thrive with an adopter who is committed to continuing his training, understands canine behavior, and can provide the patience and structure he needs to succeed.
