Dug

Dug is a resilient sweetheart who’s been quietly blossoming since arriving in our care. Like many dogs who haven’t had the easiest start, he came to us underweight and in need of some extra TLC. With regular meals, structure, and lots of gentle attention, Dug is filling out beautifully and looking healthier every week. He’s a social, people-oriented boy who truly enjoys human companionship. Dug has a soft, soulful expression and leans into affection, clearly soaking up the love he may have missed before. He’s happy to join you for a stroll or simply stand close by your side — he just wants to be part of things. We’re still learning about Dug and don’t yet know how he feels about other animals, so any introductions should be slow and thoughtful. What we do know is that Dug is a kind, grateful dog who’s ready for a fresh start with a family committed to continuing his journey toward a bright and secure future.

Ideal Home

Dug would thrive in a home where he can continue to build confidence and receive plenty of gentle attention. We are still learning about how he feels about other animals, so any introductions should be slow and thoughtful.

Ongoing Health

Dug arrived underweight and has been receiving excellent care to help him regain his health. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Dug is a social and people-oriented dog who enjoys companionship. Continued gentle attention and structure will help him flourish.
