Chetty JuM

Chetty JuM is a jazzy lovebug looking for a special family to hold onto! This sweet girl is a female, Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a whole lot of energy. She's still learning the ropes of being a good girl, like becoming more comfortable in her crate and walking confidently on a leash, but with a little more practice and a lot of love from her new family, she'll master it in no time. Her foster family has been showering her with love and teaching her so much, and she's ready to share all that affection back!

Chetty is a super excitable, mid-to-high energy dog. When her humans come home, she can transform into a jackrabbit, sometimes forgetting her size and jumping with enthusiasm. She gets along great with kids, but it's a good idea to remind them that Chetty might forget just how little they are during playtime. She's also curious about cats and might chase them sometimes, so a home with no cats or cats that can stand their ground would be ideal.

Ideal Home

Chetty would thrive in an active home with a family that can provide consistent training and positive reinforcement. While she loves kids, it's important that they understand she can be a bit boisterous and might forget her size. A home without cats, or with very confident feline companions, would be best for Chetty.

Chetty is a spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped adult dog.

Training & Support

Chetty is still working on her crate training and leash confidence. With continued practice and patience, she'll blossom into a well-behaved companion. Her energetic greetings when her people return home will need gentle redirection to help her learn to manage her excitement around her favorite humans.
