Honey

Honey is a beautiful and sweet girl who lives up to her name! She is affectionate, curious, smart, and loves to play, fetching like a champ. Honey is well-behaved and listens well to strong leadership. She knows basic commands and loves to strut her stuff on long walks. Honey has completed her training school and her trainer describes her as obedient, focused on her homework, playful, and independent. Honey was treated for tick fever and has been cleared by the vet.

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home where she receives a lot of love and activities. She would thrive with at least one other dog her age, preferably a passive female, or she could be a wonderful single dog in a home with adults or a family with grown children who can provide strong leadership. Honey's enthusiasm and energy might be too much for very young children. If you have another dog, slow introductions and supervision will be key.

Ongoing Health

Honey was treated for tick fever and has been cleared by the vet. Before leaving Cortez Rescue, she will receive a full medical assessment to ensure she is in optimum health.

Training & Support

Honey is well-behaved and knows basic commands. She is described as obedient and focused. Initial introductions and play dates with other dogs should be supervised.
