Thunder: Adopt or Forever Foster

Thunder is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving boy who absolutely thrives on attention. He's estimated to be around 6 years old and weighs about 70 lbs, offering so much unconditional love to his forever family. He's a truly wonderful addition to any home!

Ideal Home

Thunder loves people but is very selective with other dogs, so he needs a home with no other canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Thunder is available for adoption with a mostly-sponsored fee of $100. He is also a candidate for our new Forever Foster program. In this program, approved applicants can welcome Thunder into their family at no cost, and we will cover all his vetting for life, including regular and emergency care, preventatives, and vaccines. We also provide additional support such as transportation to appointments and boarding for vacations, for his lifetime. Please inquire for more details! His adoption fee includes all vetting to age, including microchip. We also offer a $60 rebate for completing positive-based training classes.

Training & Support

While generally housetrained in his foster home, it's important to expect an adjustment period as Thunder adapts to a new environment. We highly recommend a 2-week shutdown and decompression period for the best transition.

Transportation

Thunder is located in Rochester, NY. We can transport dogs within a several-hour radius of our location, including Canada (though young puppies must be old enough for their rabies vaccination to cross the border, typically around 16 weeks).
