Philip

Meet Philip, a 50-pound Staffy mix with a talent for toy discus and an even bigger talent for snuggles! Philip is a shy guy who is working on building his confidence, but don't let that fool you – he's a loving pup who enjoys playtime and bath time. He's making great progress with his leash manners and is learning to trust humans. Philip is good with other dogs and people of all ages, but he's still learning that hands are for petting, not for scaring. He has a moderate to high energy level and needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. Philip is crate-trained and doesn't dig, but he loves his chew toys, so supervised play is a must. He knows how to sit and is working on his impulse control when treats are involved. Philip is looking for a patient and loving home where he can continue to grow into the confident, happy dog he's meant to be.

Ideal Home

Philip would do best in a home that can provide him with patience and understanding as he continues to gain confidence. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Philip has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Philip is learning leash manners and impulse control. He is crate-trained and enjoys chew toys, so supervised play is recommended.

Transporation

Philip is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week!
