Mildred, a sweet 5-year-old girl with a birthday on October 27, is ready to find her forever home. She's a resilient soul who has overcome a lot, including being underweight, overbred, and battling heartworms. After successful surgeries and heartworm treatment, Mildred is now healthy, heartworm-free, and eager to start her next chapter. She's affectionate, loves to snuggle, and is looking for a patient, kind person to show her what forever really means.

Ideal Home

Mildred would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention or with a calm, compatible canine friend. She is not a fan of cats and would do best with gentle children.

Ongoing Health

Mildred has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and is now heartworm-free. She has also had necessary surgeries.

Training & Support

Mildred is crate and house-trained, and enjoys walks as she is leash-trained. She is good in the car and loves to play with toys. While she's generally low to moderate energy, she does enjoy occasional zoomies when she's happy.
