About Bandit AW

Hi there! My name is Bandit, and I'm a delightful female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky in me, making me extra special! I was born on July 21, 2025, and I'm already a strong girl, weighing in at 71 pounds. I recently had my spay surgery and microchip, and I was the perfect patient, taking all my medicine like a champ, especially with tasty wet food!

I'm bursting with energy and excitement, just like most young shepherds. I absolutely adore an active family who loves playtime and the great outdoors. Fetching a ball is one of my favorite pastimes, along with happily chewing on bones and playing with my furry siblings. I'm also great with big dogs – my best buddy is a Great Dane, and I can definitely keep up! My favorite game involves stuffed toys; I love seeing how quickly I can make it look like it snowed indoors!

When it comes to people, I'm a total sweetheart. I love to snuggle up with my foster parents and will happily shower you with kisses. Belly rubs and chest rubs will make me melt right into your lap. I'm also fantastic with the foster grandkids, who are 4 and 8 years old. Sometimes I get a little too excited and might accidentally knock over the little ones, but I always apologize with plenty of kisses.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active family that enjoys playtime and spending time outdoors. While I live with an outdoor cat now, she keeps her distance, so I'm not quite sure how I'd do with a friendly feline.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccines and preventions.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and comfortable using a doggy door. I'm still working on crate training, but my foster family is also helping me with leash training and getting more comfortable meeting new people. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, I warm up quickly.
