Jetra

Jetra is a unique Liver Sable Shepherd estimated to be around 4 years old. She was found as a stray, so her past is unknown, but her fly-bitten ears and the signs of having nursed pups suggest she has been through a lot. Despite her past, Jetra is an exceptionally sweet girl who has done great with everyone she's met. She's still discovering herself but gratefully accepts any affection offered and quickly bonds with her human companions, always wanting to be close. Jetra has done well with children 10 and older, and while she hasn't met younger children, there's no reason to believe she wouldn't do well with them, aside from being a bit of a "licking hazard"! She's slowly learning how to interact with other dogs, preferring a quiet coexistence rather than boisterous play, and seems unfamiliar with toys, indicating play might be a new concept for her. Due to her strong interest in cats, she is not recommended for a home with cats or small animals at this time.
